The thing is, because its fashion I either have to be a complete backstabber to get ahead or be myself and fail at getting ahead but succeed at being nice. I know its a cliche but Fashion is bitchy! if your not wearing something designer or "fashionable" then your in the wrong career.
I hate to admit it but I've said my fair share of bitchy comments, ie - "what in the name of hell is she wearing??" and most of the time, the person does deserve that being said to them from a fashion point of view, but it after saying it I always feel like crap, I don't know said person or why they are wearing what they are so I have no right saying anything about them. I love all that is fashion from the designing part to the wearing part, but I hate the bitchy part.
so its my mission to find a balance of being successful but being myself, even if myself does come out with a few (just a few) bitchy comments.
